We are delighted announce the appointment of Hannah McArdell to the position of Group Operations Manager of The BeGroup with immediate effect. This role will have operational oversight over our LMG Jewellery, BeValued and Home Options businesses and will report directly into the CEO.
Hannah joined the organisation in 2002 as a claims handler within our Jewellery business located in Bath. Since then, she has gained a deep knowledge and understanding of the business, with roles as Client Operations Manager and more recently as Business Manager.
In making the appointment Group CEO, Colin Bassett, said "as our business continues to grow and expand, it became evident that there was a necessity to harmonise the operational processes across the entire group and to leverage our expertise for the benefit of all our clients. We have strong history of bringing innovation and digital solutions to the market and we are at a point where we are embarking on a number of key market-leading initiatives. It was therefore important at this time to further strengthen our senior leadership team. I could not be more delighted to see a real home grown asset in Hannah being appointed to this position."
Hannah has been honing her business skills throughout her 19 years with The BeGroup. Hannah said "I have always been passionate about delivering great service to customers and clients. There is one thing that people who stay in the claims industry have in common and that's a desire to make the customer experience their top priority. One of the things that excites me about working at the BeGroup, is our focus on brining digital solutions to clients and customers, and in so doing making things easier through the entire claims process. I am a strong believer that by doing this, as an industry, we will be able to spend more time with vulnerable customers or more complex cases".
A little known fact about Hannah is that she has previously been a Premier League hockey player in the UK. Hannah utilises her tenacity and competitive nature to bring continual improvement to all aspects of her work. "My time in competitive sport taught me the importance of the 'team'. I am a firm believer that if you look after, and support your staff, they will look after your customers".
We are all excited to welcome Hannah to her new role.
