Introduction

This statement is made on behalf of The Be Group.

We all have a responsibility to be alert to the risks not just within our business, but also in the wider supply chain. The Company is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking within all our activities and require all those that we do business with to do the same.

Employees are expected to report concerns and the Company is obligated to act upon them.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the current financial year.

Scope

This statement applies to all employees of The Be Group, it is not intended to replace existing procedures.

In addition, it sets out expectations that will also apply to any Company that we do business with whether they are a client or part of our supply chain.

Terms

Within this statement the following definitions will apply to below words/phrases:

The Be Group: All Companies that make up and are associated with Be Group Holdings (UK) Limited.

The Company: The Be Group as defined above

Our Business

We are insurance replacement specialists, acting on behalf of national insurance companies.

The group operates within the UK and has its head office in Eastbourne, with a further office located in Bath.

We do not undertake any activities that are considered to be at high risk of slavery or human trafficking.

Supply Chain

Our supply chain is used to validate and where possible supply products that have been claimed for under a household insurance claim.

We operate and maintain a preferred supplier list. We conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred supplier. This due diligence includes an online search to ensure that a particular organisation has never been convicted of offences relating to modern slavery. All suppliers are required to confirm that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.

Our Commitment on Slavery & Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

Due Diligence Processes

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk:

• Where possible we build long standing relationships with all our suppliers and make clear our expectations of business behaviour.

• All prospective/new suppliers are expected to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes. This is verified as part of our due diligence process.

• We have policies in place to encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistle blowers.

Training

We ensure that any of our employees involved in procurement or supply chain fully understand our obligations in preventing modern slavery and encourage concerns to be raised in line with our Whistleblowing and Public Interest Disclosure Policy.

Measures

All suppliers are reviewed on an annual basis and are required to undergo an annual due diligence review to ensure that they continue to comply with our expectations.

Compliance against our requirements is recorded on an annual review document.
